Happy Spring, everyone. As I sit here typing this, I can hear birds twittering (they were the original twitterers) outside and catch a glimpse of a daffodil or two.
I'm still playing the waiting game. It'll be three weeks Monday. That's not very long so why does it SEEM like three months?
Meanwhile, I did not forge ahead as I announced I would last week. I did continue to shine and polish chapter three and my hope is to get myself under control and work on chapter four today. I did a blog interview for the Rogue Phoenix Press http://www.roguephoenixpress.blogspot.com/ this week which I believe Chris is going to post today. I hope you'll drop over and say hello. I'm announcing it here as I no longer have any contact with our loop. Have no idea why. I'm pretty sure the trouble is the nut on the end of the steering wheel, as my father used to say, but just knowing I should be able to figure it out doesn't help me figure it out. Sigh.
I hope everyone else is doing well and look forward to reading how it's going...

HI Alice, Happy Spring! God for you to continue on. I"m sure they are going to want your proposal. I spent Saturday giving a 6 hour workshop on GMC to a group of writers in Dayville, OR- a 2 hour drive from my house.
It was fun. Most were beginning writers and drank up all my information which is always fun. And I always enjoy hearing about books of other genres that are being written. IN the afternoon I helped two do a Story Magic chart for their books. One was a women's fiction story about three friends who were coming apart because of one's indiscretions. And this happened in a pack trip. Very fun! The other was by an eighteen-year-old. A YA about a witch and other supernatural species. It was well thought out as well. And I sold ten books and made new friends.
As for my progress... I'm still polishing SOTL, still gathering info for the jungle book, and polishing the Pinkerton book for when the agent asks for more. (Positive thinking). I'm hoping if she isn't sure about the western but likes the writing I can pitch the jungle book to her.
As for this week- doing the same as last week. Working on all three projects and trying to stay sane!

Hey, all! Sorry for my absence on the loop and blogs the last few days. In addition to a planned heavy schedule, my mom went to the hospital with chest pains and had stints put in a couple veins. She's home now and doing much better, so I'm catching up.
Alice, hope you hear on your proposal soon! Waiting is tough on the nerves. And hope you get the loop contact figured out. Sometimes it remains a great cyber-mystery as to why those things quit working--and just as suddenly start working again.
Paty, congrats on the productive week. Glad you're still working on the Spirit books. Your workshop sounds wonderful and tiring! Glad you sold some books and made new contacts. Have fun with your multiple projects!
I worked several days on my novella, but didn't make as much progress as I had planned. Still working on the perfect details to flesh out the story. :)

Paty, LOL, nothing is for certain and I swing from being sure they'll want them to be just as sure they won't.
You weekend sounds stimulating and enlightening for both you and your audience. Good luck with the staying sane thing. Let me know how that's works out;-)
Genene -- I'm so relieved your mother is improving! Scary times. Your novella will come along now that you aren't worried and traveling and being supportive, you watch!
