Weekly Progress Check-In

Welcome!  This is the Mid-Willamette Valley RWA chapter's weekly progress check-in.

Did you meet your writing goals last week?  What do you plan to accomplish this week?

(The best prize is achieving your writing goals, but as an extra incentive, we will award gift cards from Powell's bookstore to the chapter member and the non-member who check in for the most weeks in 2012.)

Still in the middle of revisions before sending out the requested full of The Lazarus Gambit. Hope to have them done (or nearly so) by this coming weekend.

Hooray for progress, Debbie!

I finished my taxes last week and mailed then on Friday the 13th. Celebrating that accomplishment and digging back into other projects, including edits for the fifth book of my LEGACY series. Wrote a scene today that brought tears to my eyes. Hope it's one readers love too! Am also writing blogs and planning other promotion.

This coming week means more edits and more blog posts to write, as well as updating my Web site.

Hope everyone has a productive week!

Life has been getting in my way lately, so I only got to sit and write once last week. I am into section that needs a lot of research. Its so daunting that I'm considering changing the story to avoid it...I've taken to heart, it seems, the idea of "just finish the draft!"

Hope you are all doing great.

Congratulations, Deb, Genene and Meggan. You are all getting so much done (and yes, Meggan, writing once a week with your full schedule is amazing progress!).

I had a slower week, but got a printed version of The Honeymoon Cottage designed and am reading through the proof this week, and am making slow progress on my edits of Shady's Lady. Doing a lot of mundane stuff to prepare for a trip north to Oregon, too. I am looking forward to seeing you all at the May meeting!

Good luck on meeting this week's goals, everyone. :-)
