Weekly Progress Check-In

Welcome!  This is the Mid-Willamette Valley RWA chapter's weekly progress check-in.

Did you meet your writing goals last week?  What do you plan to accomplish this week?

(The best prize is achieving your writing goals, but as an extra incentive, we will award gift cards from Powell's bookstore to the chapter member and the non-member who check in for the most weeks in 2012.)

Yes, I did meet my goals. In spite of it being spring break, I managed to write twice, for more than 20 minutes each time. Yay! How about you-all?

Hooray for meeting your goal, Meggan!

I've been making good progress on edits to book #5 of my LEGACY series--and discovering things about the hero I didn't know and now need to do a bit more research for him. This is good, though! Makes the story deeper. :)

Also did more work on book covers for other authors. Have the go ahead to finish a couple more, so that's very cool!

I also have promo events going on this week. Friday I'll be guest blogging, today I'm participating in a blog chat at Coffee Time Romance, and I'm participating in an online scavenger hunt that started April 1 and goes through May 15 with 75 other authors offering some awesome prizes--Kindles and gift cards and lots more! I've sent out reminders to our loop and the details are on my Web site, so I won't bug people any more about these events.

I'm also having guests on my LEGACY blog on Thursdays this month. This is a new venture for me that started last Thursday. What fun to spread the word about other authors' books!

This coming will be more edits, promotion (obviously!) and finishing up those book covers.

Wishing you all a productive, but hope you spend some time in the sun also while we have it!

That last line should say "Wishing you all a productive WEEK..." Sheesh!
