I managed 4000 words last week. Would have liked more but between being sick and then my dash to the other side of the state that was it. I hope to get my house decorated today and then make the rest of the week dedicated to writing. My plan was to have the third Halsey book finished by the middle of this month, I have 30,000 more words to go. I better get cranking!!

So, I'm going to try to do better with check ins. Although I do check in each week with Rogues Angels blog and their check in day which is Thursday. So two check ins just might keep me focused. I've started the second week of my Highland Honor vbt. And I'm working on blogging every day on my personal blog. I'm trying to finish my anthology Sharks by the end of the week. That is, finish the edits as well as promote my tour. I am at Character Connection today. I'm offering a Clan MacPherson bookmark and a $50.00 GC at amazon so stop by and leave a comment. http://thecharacterconnection.blogspot.com/

Hey, Paty, 4000 words is good! Hope you get some solid writing time to work on the third Halsey brothers book!

Hey, Chris! Hope your blog tour is going well--it's sure keeping you busy! I'm looking forward to reading "Sharks"!

I finished the edits to the third book of my LEGACY series yesterday...well, almost! I still want to read it out loud to catch minor mistakes and have someone read it who hasn't read any of the previous books in the series to make sure I've explained previous events but not over-explained them!

Then it's on to the edits of the next book!

Happy writing to all!

Good work Paty! And way to go Chris and Genie!

Last week was not very productive--a scant couple of hundred words. I got two rejections from the ECWC requests which set me back a bit. But I also wasted time dickering back and forth about whether to answer a call for novella submissions or to continue with my WIP. (For those curious, Entangled Press has a couple of intriguing calls for submissions right now). Finally decided the more important thing is finishing my WIP--forward momentum and that. But still the shiny . . .

I haven't gotten too much done this week. Been sick with a nasty cold and it's set me back. I hope to get more done by next Monday!

Wow, Paty, Chris, Genene and Annabeth. You are all accomplishing so much, some writing and some promo and submissions. Really inspirational, you all.
