Current Project:none
Status: quo

Another week has passed. It's been a strange week for me, all things considered. Today I'm getting a new lap top -- it's on the FedEx truck even as I type. I'm looking forward to it with trepidation as I'll have to figure out how to get it up and running myself.

A few ideas have been rambling round in my head so the cogitation continues.

How about you?

Oh, I'm sorry. I'd love to hear if Nano is over and if it is, were you happy with your results. Maybe this was done last week. I'm being a space cadet.

Alice-- Loved your status "quo" LOL

Yay on getting a new lap top! If you have questions or need help my DH is a good little helper and very knowledgeable about 'computery' stuff. :) Just email me or call if you need his help. :)

Glad your wheels are turning and I know you'll come up with something brilliant!

I didn't do any actual 'sit at my computer writing' this week, but I did have a zillion things come to me about my hero as I pondered my WIP. YAY! I'm very excited about these revelations. I was beginning to wonder if he was ever going to let me into his head. I already know my crazy little heroine quite well, but he was still a mystery man to me until this week.

Oh yeah-- I have AWESOME NEWS!! My DH is moving his office OUT OF THE HOUSE!! Finally, after how many years? UGH! Anyway, he's heading out on Monday and I'm so excited I can hardly stand it! *big grin* I have big plans, baby! Big plans! My entire schedule will be what I want now and no more husband in the middle of my business all day. LOL Sounds terrible of me to be so excited but I can't help it. :)

Piper, I know exactly what you mean! My dh is the love of my life, but he worked outside the home for umpteen years and time was mine to schedule and waste and use in any way I wanted. I got so spoiled! Now he's home all the time and while he's a very busy man with a lot going on, the fact remains he's here. HERE. I am constantly tempted by his whimsies.

Glad your hero is letting you in.

Me too LOL on your status "quo." So nice to have you back leading our check-in.

Last week was a wonderfully productive week for me. I wrote in good chunks of time every day but Tuesday, and got 40-some scene sheets done, as well as another dozen pages of notes on two of the different stories in my series.

This is in addition to almost completing the updates to my Web site (I needed my Internet access back to finish those up) and some other non-writing projects.

Gee, could this mean that no Internet/e-mail access equals more productivity?

Alice, glad your ideas are forming again--as the rest of us knew they would!

Piper, glad your hero is finally loosening up a bit.

Now, I'm off of the Internet and e-mail to be productive! Happy writing to all!

Hi Alice, Congrats on the laptop and the cogitating.

Yes, NaNo is over. I guess you could say it was success for me though I never formally signed up. But I finished my 37,000 half of the book I was co-writing.

This week I had galleys for the two contracted books to go through, and then cleaned up the sisters story to send on.

I'm looking forward to this week getting started on revisions for Bridled Hearts.

Piper, way to go on cracking into your hero's head.

Genene, wow, you are zipping through those scene sheets.

I know no one checks back on old threads, but I didn't get a chance to post this weekend, and I need to keep myself honest. 12 pages down last week. I'd like to get another 10 this week, and possibly start typing what I have so far.
