Eli's Challenge

Did more inside work today. Got my thousand words (more or less) here and there and everywhere even though the book concept didn't advance much. On the other hand, the tension level got ratcheted up and a much needed scene got added.

How is everyone else doing?

216 words. Pathetic. I've been suffering multiple distractions today. I handed out flyers in my neighborhood for a gift show a few of us are doing at a neighbor's house where I'll be selling books. Both Project Resurrection and Desert Guardian. Not sure of the turnout, but most of my neighbors do tend to come to all the events in our neighborhood. There's always a BBQ or mixer of some sort. These are social folks. So there's a good chance I'll sell a few books. I know I'll sell more than I would at a book store signing. The gift show is next Saturday. Wish me luck.

Consider good luck extended. My hat is off to you. 216 words is almost a page and a page is a page is a page.

Plus, promotion is sometimes the name of the game, baby. Fingers crossed for hungry neighbors...for a good read!

1214 for me today. Not as great as I'd like, but I met my daily goal, so I'm not complaining. ;)

Eli is back and rolling, folks, look out. Eli, since you're feeling better I'll do everyone a favor and stop the prodding and rooting.

ROFL, Alice. I wouldn't say I'm rolling, but I am making slow and steady progress. ;) I like the prodding and rooting though, so keep at it.
